Jamil Dada Character Excellence Youth Awards.
Every year, CFLC nominates young promising leaders from our Youth Opportunity Centers (YOC) for the Jamil Dada Character Excellence award. This annual Workforce Development award aims to honor youth who have overcome some of life's challenges such as poverty, abuse, abandonment, or homelessness, and have benefitted from the resources provided by YOCs.
Awardees were honored with a dinner hosted at the March Field Air Museum (Riverside, CA) alongside distinguished city, county, and state guests and Christina Pascucci. All youth received a $2,500 scholarship towards their brighter futures. Congrats!
