CFLC Under Construction

As our nonprofit grows every year, our need for more room is a must. Our Resource Family Agency location is in need of an updated office to fit the needs of our employees and the families we serve. Thankfully our Youthbuild youth came to the rescue to use their construction skills to remodel the space. Construction teacher, Tim Garcia, is guiding youths to build a visitation room, Resource Family Agency office, and walls to provide privacy between employees and families. Youth are not only getting hands-on experience but are also getting paid as they learn. Old Navy Helping the Local Community

Old Navy Employees are encouraged to learn and connect with their local community by supporting charities that make a difference. Cecelia, (Middle) manager at Old Navy in the Promenade Temecula mall and employees donated a thanksgiving basket for a local family in need. CFLC Development Coordinator and Chaplain, Zach Bell (Left) had the pleasure of picking up the donation while he was dropping off a box for CFLC’s Giving Tree toy donation program.

In the upcoming weeks, friends and families will gather around to celebrate Thansksgiving. Thanksgiving wouldn't be the same without turkey, mashed potatoes and other holiday classics! Many families around Riverside County face hunger and cannot afford to enjoy the same Thanskgiving meals as we do. This leaves them with feeling excluded and unimportant to the community around them.
