Bikes provide independence to youth

temp-post-image

Lasrra Parks is 19 years old and is gaining work experience at a legal office. But there is a dilemma, although she is trying to move forward in her career path, unreliable transportation is standing in her way. The obvious solution seems to be to get a vehicle but with limited finances, there is no hope of that. Thankfully her career navigator at CFLC, Amy P. noticed this problem; soon after CFLC purchased a bike to donate to her.

The bike provides her with safety and reliability to work, school, and around the community. CFLC helps youth who are facing critical life challenges such as those who are low-income, high school drop-outs, and any other unique situation that has left them vulnerable. With your help, we were able to improve a youth's confidence, establish reliable transportation, and have a bright future.
