As our nonprofit grows every year, our need for more room is a must. Our Resource Family Agency location is in need of an updated office to fit the needs of our employees and the families we serve. Thankfully our Youthbuild youth came to the rescue to use their construction skills to remodel the space. Construction teacher, Tim Garcia, is guiding youths to build a visitation room, Resource Family Agency office, and walls to provide privacy between employees and families. Youth are not only getting hands-on experience but are also getting paid as they learn. Youthbuild is a program for young adults ages 16-24 who want to earn an education, job training, certifications in Logistics or Construction, and get paid while learning!
